Get in touch

We read everything that arrives. Research correspondence gets a considered reply rather than a fast one, so allow a few days.

What we are glad to hear about

Questions or challenges on something we have published. If you have run into a result that contradicts ours, that is the most useful message we can receive, and we would rather hear it from you than discover it later.

Collaboration on the areas we work in: agent architectures, evaluation methodology, inference routing, streaming voice, and the physical constraints behind large-scale inference. We are a small lab and we work with people outside it often.

Datasets, benchmarks or failure cases you think deserve more scrutiny than they have had. Reproducible failure cases are genuinely scarce and we will take them seriously.

Before you write

Much of what we are asked is already answered in our research notes, which cover our working methods and results in more depth than a reply could. The about page covers how the lab is structured and why it is separate from the applied division.

If you are writing about a specific result, a link to the note in question and the part you disagree with saves a round trip. If you are proposing collaboration, the most useful thing you can include is what you have already tried and where it stopped working.

Response times

We are a small lab and there is no support desk behind this address. Research correspondence usually gets a reply within a week. Anything that needs us to reproduce a result or read a paper properly takes longer, and we would rather answer slowly than badly.

If a message goes unanswered for more than two weeks it is safe to assume it was missed rather than ignored, and a follow-up is welcome.
